2019 Bat Standards
A quick note on the new baseball bat regulations for the 2019 season. Please read this page for information prior to purchasing a new bat.
Butler County Babe Ruth (the league we play in) has agreed to follow the USAbat standard. All baseball bats must have the USAbat logo on it. We will not be allowed to use any bat that does not have this new USAbat stamp. This only affects baseball.
Softball bats remain unchanged, you will need to make sure all softball bats have the USSSA 1.20 BPF stamp on it.

NEW SOFTBALL RULE FOR 2019
Beginning with the 2019 season, it is now a requirement that players that pitch, play first base or third base must wear a fielders mask. This is a safety rule that will be fully enforced beginining this season. There are several style masks out there to purchase. For players 13 and older, MYBSA has a limited number of adult Rip-It face masks that we can issue to you. Players younger than 13, we recommend the plastic style masks as your daughter will likely grow out of it. Many of the masks retail for $40-50. This is cheap in comparison to any injury your daughter may get as a result of catching a ball to the face.
